This Privacy Notice explains how Gratitude Beacons Ltd, trading as Mergetic® (“Mergetic”, “we”, “us”), collects and uses personal data when you visit mergetic.com or contact us. We are the data controller. We handle personal data in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
In short: we only collect what you choose to send us through our contact form or by email, we use it solely to respond to your enquiry and discuss whether Mergetic can help you, we never sell it, our site statistics are cookie-free and anonymous, and you can ask us to delete what you sent us at any time by emailing privacy@mergetic.com.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. We do not run behavioural advertising. If we ever add analytics, we will use a privacy-preserving, cookieless measure and update this notice first.
3. Site measurement
We measure site usage with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-first service operated from the EU on EU infrastructure. It sets no cookies, stores no personal identifiers, and does not track you across sites — we see only aggregate statistics such as page views, referral sources, visit duration and country. Because no personal data is collected, no consent banner is required.
4. How your enquiry is handled
When you submit the form, it is processed by our website host and routed to our internal records so we can reply. These processors act on our instructions under data-processing terms. We may use an automated summary to triage enquiries; this assists a human and does not make any decision that produces a legal or similarly significant effect about you.
5. Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run our website, form handling, and email — and only so we can reply to you. We do not sell or rent personal data. We may disclose data if required by law.
6. Where it is held
We prefer EU/EEA-hosted services. Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses so your data keeps an equivalent level of protection.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer (in which case separate contract terms apply) or the law requires longer. We review and clear stale enquiries periodically.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to our use of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email privacy@mergetic.com and we will respond within one month. You can withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry records are access-controlled. We keep the data we hold to the minimum needed to help you.
10. Changes
We may update this notice; the date below shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
